“测量是师法自然的常用途径,经典物理学中一般认为物理属性具有确定数值,然则误差无往不在,于是试图用植物这个本身与我们共生、变化着的“尺”来测量、观测我们的城市。
聚焦是一个有趣的过程,在抓取数据的过程中,我们也就走进了这些城市。我们相信这个方案所唤起的并不仅仅是一个与根系和管井系统有关的城市概念,而是展开了一种关于现代城市时而清晰时而模糊的的讨论。
Measurement is a common way to learn from nature. In classical physics, it is generally believed that physical properties have definite values, but errors are ubiquitous. Therefore, we try to measure and observe our city with plants, which are the changing "ruler" of symbiosis with us.
Focusing is an interesting process, and in the process of capturing data, we enter these cities. We believe that the proposal evokes not just an urban concept related to roots and tube-well systems, but a discussion about the modern city that is sometimes clear and sometimes vague.
